Here’s part 4 (view part 1, part 2, or part 3) and the conclusion of our honeymoon in Greece series. After a few days in Santorini, we took yet another high-speed ferry to the island of Crete, the largest of the Greek Islands.
We only had a couple days in Crete, which given its size, isn’t nearly enough time. You could easily spend a week just on Crete. What we did see was a far cry from what we saw in Mykonos and Santorini. The area we stayed in and explored was much more urban and less touristy. Overall, it was a great contrast to the other islands. Enjoy!
In hindsight, we couldn’t have picked a better locale for our honeymoon. Hopefully we’ll get a chance to go back one day.

This is the Natural History Museum of Crete, where we spent some time learning about some of the flora and fauna of Crete.

Not to worry - this little guy was in the museum, behind glass.
